I've got one of those as a back up myself.
The only time I use it is when I bring out the 'ole spyder for someone to use.

I jumped on the OMG CARBON FIBER! tank bandwagon. Meh it's lighter. and it's CARBON FIBER! +35 horsepowahs yo!

That tank will serve you well. I had one just like it for almost 10 years, and for the money it was GREAT! I just recently moved up to a 68ci 4500psi carbon fiber, and I do notice a difference...but only because I used a smaller tank for so long. In short, you'll love it. Happy shooting!

I had a flatline barrel on my M-98 when they first came out. It was cool...the balls flew flat, straight, and real far. Until you broke one in the chamber or the barrel and then it was a real bear to clean-out. You couldn't put more than 2 or 3 rounds out at a time, or it screwed-up the speed and flight characteristics of the fourth and fifth ball. And, at max range, the ball usually didn't break on your target...made him think real hard and second guess himself though, because he just got hit with a ball from WAYYYYYY out there!

My honest opinion: don't get one. There are LOTS of barrels out there.

I would also avoid the flatline. I would recommend the APEX barrel if you want the flight characteristics of the flatline. The Apex is adjustable, and is a straight barrel that is easier to clean.

Do some investigation into it, and I think it may meet the need your looking for.

I posted somewhere else about that mohawk army navy (I think it was you who mentioned it to me)
They have a bunch of different barrels for tippmanns (98s and a5s) and they did have 2 apex's in the package and a couple on display markers. I didn't read the price because I don't have a tippmann. But I bet you could call to find out.

I own both the flatline and the apex barrel. I would highly urge you to get the apex barrel over the flatline. The flatline in my experience is picky on paint. If you don't have something that agrees with it, it won't agree to shoot accurately. The apex is less finicky on paint and you still get that great extra distance. It also has other features that allow you to arc and curve the ball. You can get the apex relatively cheap as well. It can also be put on other nicer barrels such as the lapco bigshot. Definitely check out the apex.
